Sierra Buttes & Lakes

^ ^ ^ A view of the dramatic Sierra Buttes driving from Bassett's Station towards Gold Lake.
^ ^ ^ This is Snag Lake, just one of the scores of glacial lakes to be found in this area.
^ ^ ^ We decided to hike from Gold Lake to a smaller, higher-altitude lake called Squaw Lake.
^ ^ ^ Deanna likes to jog the trails and do her exercises along the way (......and it takes all my energy just to try and keep up with her - phew).
